The Queensland Hypertension Association Inc. is a Queensland-based registered charity focused on community education and research support to reduce the burden of hypertension.

Mission

Promote community education and support research to prevent, detect and better treat high blood pressure across Queensland and beyond. (QHA has been described as a not‑for‑profit dedicated to education and research in the fight against hypertension since its founding in 1981.)

Our story

Founded in 1981 by Professor Richard D. Gordon AO, QHA has long supported education and research efforts aimed at preventing, detecting and treating high blood pressure.
